THE HARD PROBLEM at the Dorfman

February 18, 2015

Tom Stoppard’s new play THE HARD PROBLEM in the new Dorfman Theatre at the National was good. It is a relatively simple story yet it is full of layers with questions that challenges one to ponder the meaning of life, if you can be bothered. Personally I prefer to philosophise whilst reading, or listening to music, or in conversation, but mostly whilst just walking the dog and I would rather not whilst watching a play.

I am an absolute fan of Damien Molony. Anthony Calf and Jonathan Coy I know and like. Olivia Vinall gives a very good performance as the lead. It is at the National Theatre and therefore it has that “National Theatre” feel.
