Quartermaine’s Terms
“Quartermaine’s Terms” by Simon Gray is a gentle mocking look at the idiosyncratic world of would-be Academics set the 1960’s in the staff room of private school teaching English to foreign students. Rowan Atkinson is cast well as the useless sad old duffer that has become part of the furniture. However it is the wonderfully played ensemble of eccentric characters each with their own interesting life story that populate the satff room that make this play such a delight. Well done to Louise Ford, Mathew Cottle, Malcolm Sinclair, Will Keen, Conleth Hill and Felicity Montagu.
